Doha, Qatar is Missoni’s latest conquest, as the luxurious Maison sets up shop at The Pearl shopping mall, the retail district of Porto Arabia. Designed by Correa Granados architects of Milan, the boutique faces – along with its triple window displays – the main corridor of the mall, covering all in all 146 square meters.

Once you step inside the grandiose boutique, you will notice the sale area drifting into two main rooms. While one of them welcomes the customer into an arrangement of oval display tables and mannequins, the other features transparent rectangular glass display tables.

A colourful aura emanates from the store, highlighted by a range of materials and colours reinforcing the M Missoni spirit. The brand’s iconic rails of prints and patterns give the store a sensual feminine feel, portraying its timeless identity.

Reaching a grand total of 12 exclusive boutiques in the Middle East only, M Missoni has paved its way to in-store shops and multi-brand stores as well.

Commenting on the grand opening, M Missoni’s commercial director Davide Ceci said: “We are very happy with this new opening which is a joint project with united fashion company (UDC), our local partner. The boutique is beautiful and we hope our customers in Qatar will enjoy it.”

Hussain Akbar Al Baker, UDC’s director marketing and communication, stated: “M Missoni is a unique brand that is easily recognizable from afar, and we are proud to bring such an iconic label and its collections to the many savvy shoppers here at the Pearl-Qatar, which stands as one of the most important retail destinations in the city.”

And there’s much more, since the perennial list of M Missoni boutiques is getting longer and longer with a soon-to-be opened boutique in Riyadh.
