In its 18th edition, the leading bridal show in the Middle East, Bride 2015, presented the best of what's to offer in the wedding, fashion, beauty, jewelry and honeymoon travel domains. Held in Dubai from March 25th till March 28th at Dubai International Exhibition Center, it was a celebratory event with the announcement of the Young Designer Award 2015 winner, Fatema Merchant.
A Capital Training Institute graduate, Merchant was chosen from the ten finalists by a judging panel that included exhibition director Daphne Cota, founder of Female Network Shereen Mitwali and fashion guru Rosemin Manji. The designer was also awarded the newly-intorudced People’s Choice Award.
The four-day exhibition featured fashion shows, hair and beauty demonstrations, celebrity make-up artists and expert discussions about the wedding industry. Jewelry design brand Amwaj’s work was featured with the likes of couture designers such as Nayala Couture, Zarena Haute Couture, Tahani, Amina Aljassim and SKS Fashion Design.
