Largest Burberry Store Opens Its Doors in the UAE

by Mirella Haddad

Marking the start of a new chapter for Burberry in the Middle East, their largest flagship store opens its doors today in Dubai. Set to be the biggest store for Burberry in the Middle East and their second flagship in Dubai, this boutique features a selling space of over 15,000 square feet.

Under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey himself, the store features an interior that reflects the brand’s global flagship boutique located at 121 Regent Street in London with an architecture inspired by British design. The illuminated glass façade of the store celebrates the brand’s iconic print through a digital print overlaid by patterned glass. In addition, the building features large video walls with enhanced audio-visual capabilities that will showcase the brand's events.

Located in the Mall of Emirates, the store offers the widest Burberry collection in the Middle East including menswear, womenswear and accessories as well as the ultimate perk, a special tailoring service. The store will also display an exclusive collection of evening gowns - a perfect addition geared to please Middle Eastern buying habits - and starting September, it will showcase childrenswear lines.

Beauty products will also be on display, as it is the first time a space in a Middle Eastern Burberry store is entirely dedicated to Burberry’s make-up and fragrance line. Inspired by the trench coat, the brand’s iconic My Burberry women fragrance will be showcased with an in-store monogramming service. Passionately dedicated to digital innovation, a computerized lip and nail bar will be available in the area, giving customers the opportunity to virtually try on Burberry’s new lip and nail colors.
