If one would think of the brand’s grandeur, the terms of class and chicness would unquestionably come to mind. Much to our pleasure, designer Peter Marino vivifies these symbolic labels, mirroring Chanel’s timeless grace and growing avant-gardism.
Evidently so, this iconic statement constantly paves its way from one store to another, making it a given Chanel standard, and we are all loving it! Picture a lively version of Mademoiselle Chanel’s Parisian apartment on 31, rue Cambon, echoed throughout a 289 square meters single floor boutique. And just as you’re about to enter the magical Kingdom of Karl Lagerfeld, you systematically spot a myriad of Ready-to-Wear garments, handbags, shoes, accessories and watches. This unique sense of intimacy and sophistication is offered to you on a big silver platter, putting into sight handmade wall finishes, woven wool carpets and staple tweed furnishings. Indeed, another Chanel chef d’oeuvre, where the fusion of materials is presented as an exceptional architectural and artisanal blend.
The luxurious boutique invites you to the secret world of Chanel, where clients are taken aboard a fashionable ride. The spacious store is marked by two rooms entirely devoted to all kinds of accessories, from seasonal handbags to small leather goods, costume jewelry, scarves and glasses. But the element of surprise remains in the shoe salon, where a wide array of the most coveted shoes rest on a bed of style. And right at the heart of the Chanel wonderland, lies the lavish room dedicated to a selection of the House’s watches. The ride ends on a most elegant note, where clients rejoice in the Ready-to-Wear salon, overwhelmed by Lagerfeld’s latest creations. A sumptuous sofa illuminated by “Goossens” table lamps and a beautiful crystal chandelier make the experience all the more inviting.
Perhaps Chanel’s true brilliance lies in Peter Dayton, Nancy Lorenz and Ingrid Donat’s avant-gardist artworks, further pushing the limits of a boundless brand.
