For Resort 2027, Valentino creative director Alessandro Michele infused the House’s refined identity with a sense of spontaneity and youthful rebellion. The collection explored the meeting point between sophistication and everyday dressing, presenting a wardrobe where tailored pieces, sportswear and decorative evening looks coexisted effortlessly.

Preppy influences appeared throughout, from pleated trousers and tartan separates to striped knitwear and structured jackets. These elements were paired with more casual pieces, including sweatshirts, joggers, denim skirts and tracksuits, reflecting a modern approach to dressing that embraces contrasts rather than rules.

Michele also introduced playful graphic slogans that reinforced the collection’s irreverent mood while appealing to a younger generation. Rich craftsmanship remained central, expressed through intricate embroidery, decorative detailing and carefully constructed silhouettes.

The collection culminated in Valentino’s signature eveningwear, featuring layers of tulle, sparkling embellishments, delicate chiffon and dramatic embellishments that balanced glamour with the collection’s relaxed attitude.
