Designed in 1916 by famed architect Le Corbusier in the Swiss La Chaux-de-Fonds, La Villa Turque is now celebrated for being La Maison Ebel for 30 years in the limited edition La Maison Ebel watch collection.
“La Maison EBEL Limited Edition perfectly represents the symbolic continuum of a milestone of a glorious past, an admirable present and an exciting future. An existence built on the same founding principle of the architectural magic that happens when beauty marries function,” stated Flavio Pellegrini, Global President EBEL.
Artistic refinement meets technical precision to form these fine timepieces. The timeless pattern of the mother-of-pearl dial finds its inspiration in the oval window of the villa. Three different dials take part in this collection limited to 75 pieces. While the first expresses the initial impression of the wearer and Ebel in their interaction with the world, the second features an inner diamond-set oval window that represent a view into the soul and the treasure of beauty and experience. Adopting an outward looking perspective, the third shades the light on the emblematic window theme.
The watches feature a small second hand and a rounded date window. Whether made of 18-carat yellow, white or pink gold, these timepieces come with a matching bracelet, or a cognac-colored, midnight blue or burgundy alligator strap. Powered by a Swiss mechanical movement, La Maison Ebel also includes a moon phase and its case-back reveals the house’s expertise in watchmaking with a magnificent inscription of The Villa Turque logo.
