Colored gemstones are always in demand. They add a creative accent to the visual narrative of the jewel or add strong, subtle contrasts based on the design. This jewelry edit focuses on colored cocktail and sumptuous rings with contrasting multicolored gemstones. Other mesmerizing styles have colored central stones surrounded by sparkling diamonds. When emeralds, rubies, sapphires, rhodolites, rubellites are set in white gold and hemmed in by colorless diamonds or white diamonds, they create a strong element of visual interest, as seen in the Signature De Saphir by Chanel, Emerald and diamond ring by Cartier, Chinha ring by Boucheron, Pavilion emerald and diamond ring by Graff, Red Carpet emerald ring by Chopard.

Piaget’s Mediterranean Garden collection ring embellished with exquisite rose motif crafted in soft pink gold, and set with bluish-green oval cut tourmaline, brilliant-cut diamonds and pear-cut emeralds is a jewelry extravaganza. Likewise, designer Vania Leles’ capsule high jewelry collection titled Legends of Africa, for her line VanLeles, features a stellar ring adorned with Gemfields Zambian emeralds and diamonds.

Color plays a starring role in Creative Director Victoire de Castellane’s Granville collection for Dior Joaillerie. Paying homage to Christian Dior’s childhood in Normandy, the designer created a color cadence in which the deep shades harmonize with watery tones in different cuts, sizes and mounts. Fabergé captures the colors in nature and beauty of spring blossoms with soft contrasting gems, enamels and carved stones in its Secret Garden high jewelry collection. Other like Chaumet’s red-hued Hortensia ring and de Grisogono dual-toned cocktail ring are great pieces to complement cocktail dresses and bright resort wear.
