When a brand is deeply synonymous with extravagantly beautiful clothing, nothing could ever shock the audience… or so we thought. Yesterday, Jeremy Scott played dress up, a la Moschino! Amidst a theatrical backdrop drenched in cinematically red tones, Gigi Hadid made a mesmerizing appearance in a short blonde wig and a trompe-l’oeil shirt dress. Models came out looking like Broadway divas, or like play-dolls in the bodies of celebrated movie icons.  The show wasn’t an ordinary presentation; it was a trip down cinematic memory lane, showcasing illusions of iconic clothes, such as reinterpretations of Marylin Monroe’s Va-va-voom dress, or even Cruella Deville’s black and white coat.Everything seemed to be incarnating a parallel universe, where solid accessories were imprinted on the buoyant outfits, gold-chain belts were carefully incorporated on skirts and ruffles were melting away on dresses.

There were maxi skirts that gave the illusion of pants, swimsuits that looked like underwear from afar and knee-high boots with the word ”Moschino” scattered all around them.

Stickers were coming out of their voluminous outfits, proving once again on of the Moschino mottos: “There is no disputing about tastes”.
