The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived, as Bouchra Jarrar has finally revealed her debut collection as Lanvin’s Creative Director. And believe us, it was beyond our expectations.

Today, Jarrar harmoniously echoed the French elegance unto the spirit of the collection, in a series of fresh pinstripe suits and sheer dresses with hints of intricate lacing. Collars were adorned with feather-like embellishments while discrete flower brooches embellished the delicate suits. Maxi-skirts were held tight with miniature triple-buckles on the side, reminding us of the unique structure of kilts. Some looks seemed to explode in a fury of dark blue sequins and elusive lacing, while others were drenched in stripes and hints of satin. The collection was clearly cloaked in modern and timeless elegance, worthy of the House’s reputation. Think top-notch gilets and piecrust blouses with pussy bows. Think plunging necklines in an ever-so sensual satin fabric.Think a white floral pattern over a sheer-blue dress.

Lanvin’s style has attracted a massive passionate following throughout the year and Bouchra Jarrar has obviously carried out the House’s legacy with utter taste and of course, talent.
