Here Are 7 Natural Sunburn Remedies

Summer is in full swing and the sun is getting brighter and stronger every day. While going to the beach is what this season is all about, we should avoid getting burned at all cost. However, sometimes the beach fun distracts us from what we should do every hour or so: apply sun screen. At the end of our amusing day, our skin becomes red and gets burned so much that we would do anything in order to feel a bit of cool relief.

So here are 7 ways to treat sunburns naturally.

1 – Add a cup of apple cider vinegar to your bath in order to balance your sunburnt skin’s pH, which helps it heal.

2 – An oatmeal bath is also really helpful especially for itchy sunburnt skin.

3 – Adding some lavender or chamomile essential oil to your bath helps relieve some of the stinging and pain.

4 – Use body creams that contain aloe Vera to soothe and moisturize your sunburnt skin.

5 – Drink lots of water and juices to replace lost body fluids and help your skin heal more quickly.

6 – To relief sunburn discomfort, apply cool – not cold – milk to the burnt area with a clean cloth.

7 – Using cool freshly brewed tea can also be beneficial to draw heat from sunburnt skin and restore its pH balance.
