For Summer 2026, Dior presents a collection that reinterprets the house’s codes through a lens of quiet sophistication and historical reference. Under the direction of Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, the collection unfolds within a setting inspired by the velvet-lined interiors of Berlin’s Gemäldegalerie, where two still-life works by Jean Siméon Chardin underscore a theme of understated elegance.
Anderson explores Dior’s heritage with a sense of empathy and spontaneity, reviving archival pieces like the Bar jacket, tailcoats, and 18th–19th century waistcoats, all woven with meaning. Donegal tweeds and regimental neckties add a formal yet relaxed charm, while delicate embroideries, rococo-inspired charms, and floral details recall Monsieur Dior’s affection for the 18th century and British culture.
Accessories become literary statements: the Dior Book Tote features classic book covers, while a crossbody bag pays tribute to Dracula. Artist Sheila Hicks reimagines the Lady Dior in a sculptural linen finish.
Unveiled on 27 June at the Hôtel National des Invalides in Paris, Jonathan Anderson's first collection exudes magic as an ode to imagination.
