Hermès has officially appointed Grace Wales Bonner as the new Creative Director of Men’s Ready-to-Wear, marking a bold new era for the storied house. Known for her nuanced exploration of identity and refined craftsmanship through her eponymous label, Wales Bonner is celebrated for blending cultural narratives with precise tailoring and artistic depth.

A Central Saint Martins graduate and recipient of numerous accolades – including the CFDA International Men’s Designer of the Year in 2021 and British Menswear Designer of the Year in 2024, she now brings her distinctive perspective to Hermès.

Her first collection for the brand will debut in January 2027. Welcoming her appointment, Hermès Artistic Director Pierre-Alexis Dumas praised her “curiosity and contemporary spirit”, while Wales Bonner expressed her honor in joining the maison’s legacy of craftsmanship and creativity.
