Louis Vuitton unveils the seventh edition of its acclaimed Artycapucines Collection, this time in collaboration with Takashi Murakami, marking a spectacular new chapter in the Maison’s ongoing dialogue between art and craftsmanship. The collection reimagines the Capucines bag – a timeless symbol of Louis Vuitton’s savoir-faire – through 11 striking interpretations that merge Murakami’s whimsical universe with the brand’s artisanal mastery.
Each design is a celebration of the artist’s vivid imagination, featuring his most beloved motifs such as the Smiling Flower, Panda, Mushroom and Dragon. Standouts include the Rainbow Flower Capucines – a kaleidoscopic explosion of color, the Mini Mushroom – embroidered with over 100 hand-polished mushrooms, and the Panda Clutch – a dazzling sculpture adorned with 6,250 strass crystals.
The Artycapucines VII Collection underscores Louis Vuitton’s enduring commitment to creativity and collaboration, joining a legacy of partnerships with global artists. Available in highly limited editions, the bags debuted on October 21 at Art Basel Paris, affirming the Capucines as the ultimate expression of artistry and femininity.
