The Fall/Winter 2026 menswear collection by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons explores evolution without erasure, proposing new ideas that retain echoes of a shared past. Created for uncertain and unpredictable times, the collection finds assurance in clarity. An elongated, precise silhouette reflects awareness of the human form, its posture and attitude.
Drawing on traces of tradition, familiar elements are transformed through a questioning of convention. Universal values of civilization, including culture, meaning, intelligence and care, are conveyed through clothes that carry impressions of life and emphasize duration, where remembering becomes an act of respect. Garments appear reduced in architecture, simple in look yet complex in construction, encouraging curiosity. Collaged prints reference antiquity, the renaissance and modernity, layering eras and meanings. Staged within the Deposito of the Fondazione Prada, an imagined past shapes a liminal space where what is concealed becomes visible, creating connection, openness and unity.
