For Spring-Summer 2026, Georges Hobeika presents “L’Amour,” a couture collection rooted in a simple, existential dialogue: “Why did you create me? So that you may love.” The show unfolds as a meditation on deep, transformative love, where body and mind merge and reveal a truth older than the self. Hobeika frames love as vulnerability and, through it, access to truth, freedom, and human connection.
Staged as a gathering in a sacred place, the collection’s message is not meant to remain contained. It is sent back into the world through action, choice, and presence. Love, the narrative insists, is not contemplation but a gift, shared repeatedly through both grand gestures and quiet ones. The collection speaks to every encounter: the stranger, the wounded, the one who has hurt or been hurt. Humanity lives in tenderness over indifference, in reaching across distance, loving even in doubt and fatigue.
As the collection unraveled, the color palette in turn had a story to tell. What started with calm colors evolved to pops of red expressing untamed emotions, and ended with a bridal look screaming perfection.
