At the Prada Fall/Winter 2026 womenswear show, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons explored the power of layering as both a physical act and a metaphor for the multifaceted realities of women’s lives. Titled Inside Prada, the collection reflects transformation through the day, expressed through clothes that reveal multitudes within each look. Staged at the Deposito of the Fondazione Prada, surrounded by artworks and furniture spanning five centuries, the setting echoed the collection’s theme: layers of history, memory, and identity, revealed piece by piece.

A defined cast of 15 women walked the runway four times each, removing layers with every appearance to reveal new combinations underneath. This gesture highlighted how clothes are worn in daily life and emphasized ideas of self-determination and agency. Among them, Bella Hadid caught the eyes of the audience with her repeated appearances, embodying the evolving character at the heart of the show.

Tailoring, sportswear, and embroidered satin dresses were layered with precision, mixing garment types without hierarchy. Archival pieces were embedded within minimal designs, while fabrics were intentionally faded and embroideries aged to suggest the passage of time.
