Dior Maison celebrates the 18th-century art of trompe-l’œil through a refined collection of decorative ceramic objects. Plates feature strikingly realistic depictions of everyday foods such as nuts, croissants, asparagus and eggs, symbolizing renewal. Eggs, described as “the perfect metaphor for the beginning,” hold special meaning for Jonathan Anderson, who first introduced them as invitations to his debut Dior show.

Inspired by the House’s archives, this motif evolves into a broader artistic concept. Pretzels, radishes, strawberries and bananas are crafted with exceptional precision, alongside dessert-inspired designs like meringue pie and fruit tarts, blurring the line between art and gastronomy.

The collection also nods to literature, featuring a plate inspired by Dracula by Bram Stoker. For Easter, pastel-toned hens and eggs evoke childhood wonder, completing a poetic celebration of craftsmanship and Dior’s enduring art de vivre.
