Christian Dior’s childhood fascination with Jules Verne’s Around the World in Eighty Days inspires The Fantastique Voyage de Monsieur Dior collection, a dreamlike line created by the Dior Maison and nurtured by Cordelia de Castellane.

At its heart is the hot-air balloon, transformed into a whimsical motif across a selection of Limoges porcelain pieces. The collection includes a service of six dinner and dessert plates, two oval serving dishes, and a trinket tray, all crafted with precision and decorated with Dior’s signature symbols: the CD monogram, star, bee, rose, clover, and lily of the valley. Two finely glazed earthenware trinket trays further the imaginative journey, continuing Dior’s collaboration with the Manufacture des Émaux de Longwy, founded in 1798.

Each creation carries an evocative name inspired by destinations, eras, or delicate symbols, including Survol au siècle des lumières and Escale du porte-bonheur, turning this fantastical voyage between heaven and earth into a way of life.
