Hublot and contemporary artist Jeff Koons have unveiled an ambitious collaboration in New York, introducing two distinct horological creations: the Classic Fusion Balloon Dog and the MP-14 Origin. The partnership merges Koons’ iconic visual language with Hublot’s technical mastery.

The Classic Fusion Balloon Dog reinterprets the silhouette of Koons' famous mirrored sculptures. The 42 mm timepiece has been re-engineered with convex lines, domed sapphire, and inflated geometries to simulate internal air pressure. Whimsical signatures include a valve-shaped crown, a decorative "balloon tail" at 10:30, and a seconds hand counterweight sculpted as a balloon dog. Powered by the self-winding caliber HUB1710, the model is presented in three editions – mirror-polished stainless steel, red anodized aluminum, and blue anodized aluminum – each limited to 200 pieces.

Pushing mechanical exploration further, the MP-14 Origin by Jeff Koons joins Hublot’s Exceptional Timepieces collection. Housed in an octagonal 44 mm polished sapphire box with an integrated sapphire bracelet, the watch marks Hublot’s first automatic central tourbillon. Driven by the 594-component caliber HUB9014 with a peripheral oscillating weight, the movement acts as a kinetic celestial system. A hand-varnished translucent blue sapphire dome, inspired by Koons’ Gazing Ball, conceals the floating central tourbillon, while suspended white gold rings set with baguette-cut diamonds and blue sapphires rotate floating red and grey cubes to display the hours and minutes. Limited to 30 pieces, the MP-14 Origin reflects the origin of the cosmos on a micro scale, cementing a visionary dialogue between art and haute horlogerie.
