For Resort 2018, Valentino will be adopting a new brand new perspective. Indeed, the Italian House will introduce a series of active spaces in Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong and Milan, along with a slew of special projects in collaboration with important multi-brand stores such as Maxfield in Los Angeles and Harrods in London.

Valentino’s Resort 2018 collection which boasts athleticism and sport at its forefront, showcases as well a sporty vibe injected in the spaces. Think reinforced concrete, samples in primary colors as a nod to the functional training box-jump and imaginary metropolitan basketball nets. Think a new authentic and distinguished version of the Valentino boutiques.

The new perspective is part of a bigger endeavor to break the border of the artisanal Valentino culture and hence introduce a new story. That said, the vendors will take on the role of authors, chosen to tell the new tale in a white shirt from the Valentino Rockstud Untitled collection.

The active spaces will not only present a selection of items and accessories from the Valentino Resort 2018 Collection, but they will also showcase a limited edition collection boasting multiple contemporary sports facets from basketballs, yoga mats, sneakers and other objects uniting the Maison’s artisanal savoir-faire culture to individuality and self-affirmation of the new sport oriented cultures.
