This December not only carries holiday gifts but also a bunch of surprises that will make the heart of every woman skip a beat. One of these would definitely be the renovation of Boucheron’s historic boutique at 26 Plâce Vendôme. Supported by Kering Group, this makeover will require a few months and will result in a magical sparkling place that showcases the house’s fine jewelry and high jewelry collections, as well as all the creative departments including the studio and the workshop.
Are you wondering what makes this address so special? In 1893, Frédéric Boucheron chose this place to display the boldness of his creations. Bathed in light and filled with high arches, this location became the house of the first contemporary jeweler on Plâce Vendôme.
We all know how beloved the theme of triumphant nature is for Boucheron. With this in mind, this will also be the theme of the renovation and while this transition is taking place, the house has put up a spectacular decorative screen based on this concept. The building’s façade is now covered with a trompe l’oeil from which emerges a tangle of trunks, creepers and foliage.
While the work is in progress, the house continues to welcome its clients in its magical world by creating a 60m2 pop up store inside 26 Plâce Vendôme. Also inspired by nature, the ephemeral store will be available until the unveiling of the 26 Plâce Vendôme in Spring 2018.
