Mouawad Celebrates Its 125th Anniversary

by Mirella Haddad

Since its creation in 1890, renowned diamond house Mouawad has made notable achievements in the world of jewelry, hitting a high level of excellence and expertise in the Middle East. Today, the house has become an emblem for innovative style, expert workmanship and unique designs.

This year, the brand celebrates its 125th anniversary by showcasing jewelry designs that feature diamonds, rubies and other colored gemstones, adding a touch of color to its rich history of jewelry making and diamond cutting. Mouawad novelties reflect the house’s high abilities in creating jewelry pieces, using raw materials and finishing the designs with a sophistic touch. To celebrate this occasion in a unique and special way, Mouawad launches two limited-edition jewelry collections, ‘Flower of Eternity’ and ‘Rosette’.

A best-selling collection at Mouawad, ‘Flower of Eternity’ features beautiful colors of gemstones and luxuriously modern designs. Made of 18-carat white gold and set with diamonds, tsavorites and multi-colored sapphires, the line’s new additions include pink, yellow, orange and blue designs available in pendants, earrings and rings that take a woman from day to night.

The new ‘Rosette’ pieces are hand-set in 18-carat white and pink gold with a vintage touch. With a selection of diamonds, yellow, blue and pink sapphires, the ‘Rosette’ pieces are graceful and elegant.

On this occasion, Pascal Mouawad, CEO of Retail Division, said, "Obviously, the key to fostering a successful luxury brand is maintaining the element of exclusivity and the trust of your clients. Therefore, our 125th anniversary celebrations are focused in particular on sharing this success together and thanking them in the best way possible.”
