What started with a scintillating thread the founding couturier weaved through his first Autumn-Winter collection in 1947 turned today into enchanting tones that Maria Grazia Chiuri reinterprets, season after season, as a tribute to this unique, precious Dior fundamental. From long dresses to midi skirts and cozy, fluffy knits, the collection also revealed unprecedented pieces such as a boxy jacket in blistered fabric, adorned with buttons brandishing the “CD” signature, promising a refined, contemporary allure. Accessories also got their share as gold casts its charm on the Lady Dior and Dior Caro bags and shoes like the 30 Montaigne, D-Way mules and the Walk’n’Dior sneakers.
