Oscar De La Renta is fashionably walking on sunshine, featuring a lively and blooming Resort collection. The collection was filled with the joys of dresses and gowns, shaping up to be a Red carpet regular’s best friend.

So if you’ve ever needed an excuse to relish in overwhelmingly exquisite gowns, the time is now. For all of us who revel in a gown-y extravaganza, we can finally rejoice, as Peter Copping has brought forth the most romantically elegant of designs. Bright-colored gowns embellished with delicate embroideries, romantic flowers and ruffles have made elegant statements, keeping up with the house’s codes. Long dresses embroidered with colored sequins, strapless taffeta gowns with a dramatic short-in the front and long trailing ruffles in the back kind of twist and flower-appliqué designs draped with lace all made the Resort list. The most popular designs comprise a white gown adorned with flowered embroideries lingering from the neck all the way through the torso, capturing the house’s dramatic flair, a silky red maxi wonder highlighted by a sheer sequin-embroidered neckline and finally a black silk strapless taffeta gown with an embroidered torso leading to a flowing ruffle train of ruffles for a much-needed youthful and playful take.

Don’t just take our word for it and go check out these embroidered gems in the Photo Gallery below.
