Saudi female fashion designers are in for a real treat this year, as Saudi Arabia’s luxury destination Rubaiyat and Vogue Italia are joining hands to promote the emerging Saudi fashion scene. Behind this ground-breaking initiative is the owner and chairman of Rubaiyat Group Sheikh Abdullah Binzagr, who is also an honored beneficiary of the Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy and a great supporter for new talents.
The project will ensure that all collections are intricately studied by Vogue Italia’s team, who will then pick out the works of ten designers. Upon choosing the winner, the latter will enjoy presenting her collection in Milan.
The Rubaiyat department store in Jeddah will be the home to the presentation of the finalists’ collections. The finalists will also be able to sell their collections at the Stars Avenue Mall.

Jeddah Vogue Fashion Experience, the ultimate forum for women, has harnessed an unmistakable aim to constantly identify the emerging generation of Saudi fashion talents. In light of this, the first edition of this forum will be held from April 20th till April 22nd 2016. It will be indeed marked as the pioneering fashion event in Saudi Arabia. Apart from promoting local talents on an international platform, the event will also support the National Home Health Care in a humanitarian initiative.
This creative approach is entirely dedicating to empowering the role of women in the world, as the funds raised will be donated to the World Food Program.
