Ruffles have made quite the impression on the fashion world this year, and they are seemingly holding on to the title for the Couture Fall 2016 season, as designers have used them almost in each and every design. They bring a bit of edginess from here and a dab of volume from there, so as to infuse the line with some sort of je ne sais quoi.

But the common denominator in all the collections we’ve seen is most definitely the ruffled gown. It’s chic, voluptuous and essentially beautiful.
