Consider it a special edition of the Do’s and Don’ts. An edition you’ll most probably save come winter, when the cold weather freezes your stylish ideas- yes, it’s a common occurrence!
If you’ve watched the Fall-Winter 2016-2017 runway shows, you probably noticed that a lot of old trends have resurfaced on the fashion scene, from the glorious 80s to the revival of the 90s. We’re not complaining though, there’s nothing quite like adapting old trends to the new generation! Winter fashion might be a bit overwhelming, but who said layers weren’t fun?
And if you’re anything like us, you’d probably want a rundown of how to wear the coolest styles, the big fashion no-no’s and the hottest accessories. So without further ado, please welcome Winter 2017’s specially curated do’s and don’ts!
We get it, winter calls for dark and cozy colors. But let us let you in on a little secret: Do wear colorful accessories to brighten up your outfit!
Don’t go overboard with fur! Pick a jacket or a coat that fits you well and steer clear from oversized ball-furs.
Do spice up your outfit with leather adding, from jackets to leggings, skirts and pants! Want to go the extra mile? Add some sassy leather gloves.
Do go for a bold and vibrant coat. Because, well, you deserve to stand out!
Don’t overdo it, trend-wise. Just pick one or two trends, blend them together in perfect harmony and avoid chiming in unnecessary additions.
Do match a cute fantasy sweatshirt with a school-girl skirt and some leather boots.
Don’t hide your white clothes just yet. This winter, it’s all about the dreamy white-winter wonderland; white fur, white pants and white leather!
Do let your socks show. Our perfect blend is low-boots with cotton socks sticking out.
Last but not least, don’t forgo your favorite accessories; take out your hats, scarves, gloves and headpieces because this winter, you’ll be covering yourself up in style!
