Valentino might be a Roman House, but it sure looked like it always belonged in New York City, as a slew of models paraded yesterday night amidst The Beekman hotel in sheer elegance.

The term “sophisticated” is no stranger to the Maison, but the Pre-Fall 2017 collection seemed to have taken it to a whole new level, one that is imprinted with romanticism, optimism and hope. Think peter pan collars on frilly dresses, ruffles mixed and matched with romantic patterns and colors skewing from baby blue to pink and lavender. Everything screamed sixties, from the flared skirt to the shirtdress, the boots and the gloves but all fingers pointed to the authenticity and harmony of Pierpaolo Piccioli’s touch.

One item in particular made its way to almost every look; a tiny bag hanging from the models necks in a long chain. And as looks swayed from day to night, full of the joys of intricate embroideries and breathtaking colors, Piccioli hit us back with a myriad of red-carpet worthy gowns, guaranteed to make your hearts swoon!

We bet we’ll be seeing a whole lot of these looks on A-listed events and we bet all eyes we’ll be on them!
