It seems that the fashion scene is already facing the new year with a mighty change, as Chloé’s Creative Director Clare Waight Keller will be resigning from her post on March 31st. Indeed, her final collection will be showcased during Paris Fashion week on March 2nd, marking the end of Keller’s reign which began in 2011.
The British born designer is allegedly moving her family from Paris to the United Kingdom and has reached mutual grounds with the luxury House as her contract reached its end. Deciding not to renew, her years at Chloé will be honorably added to her professional portfolio as she was previously creative director of Pringle of Scotland in the U.K.
“After six extraordinary years at Chloé I would like to thank Geoffroy and all my colleagues for their enormous efforts over the past years. Working for this Maison has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Chloé is a brand with values close to my heart and I have truly enjoyed working with some of the best talents in the industry. I feel privileged to have worked for a Maison with such a heritage and I am very proud of all that has been achieved,” commented Clare Waight Keller
With no specific successor in the agenda, we take a look at Keller’s best moments in the Photo Gallery below.
