Madiyah Al Sharqi’s Spring-Summer 2017 Collection pegs itself as a nod to nature in the most fabulous kind of way. The designer instils her collection with eccentric shapes and textures, worthy of a progressive woman. Think oversized bell-sleeved blouses and flared pants. Think mullet dresses with metallic textures and fringe trimmings. Think a myriad of colors skewing from lilac, powder blue, silver to pale teal. Using the element of asymmetry as her guiding light, the designer brings back the memories of Mother Nature and elegantly conjoins them to a Western appeal.
