It’s at the heart of the Fondazione Prada Osservatorio that the Italian House presented its Resort 2018 collection, bringing forth a series of modernistic designs, true to Miuccia Prada’s irreverent taste. Drawing inspiration from the contemporary setting, the pieces revealed elegance in the sportiest kind of ways. There were feminine dresses with hints of feathers and sequins scattered unto them and there were voluminous shoulders with cinched waists. There was also some kind of buoyant transparency to the designs, making the collection a mere fluid representation of Prada’s modernistic outlook. The designer infused her pieces with a touch of sporty attitude, revealed through mini-skirts, knee-high socks, chic sneakers and waterproof jackets.

The mishmash was simply exquisite, making the collection a true masterpiece of its own. The fur sleeves in particular were a nod to the brand’s meticulous taste, bringing back sweet memories of Prada’s timeless elegance. The Photo Gallery, right this way…
