Breitling unveils a striking new evolution of its Superocean Heritage collection – the first significant update since 2017. Rooted in the original 1957 design yet reimagined for today, the refreshed series masterfully balances vintage charm with contemporary craftsmanship. From its streamlined proportions to its surf-inspired spirit, this latest chapter is a tribute to effortless elegance by the sea.

The core collection introduces a range of refined case sizes – 36mm, 40mm, 42mm, and 44mm – paired with a cohesive color palette of black, blue, and green. At its heart is the debut of the B31 movement, Breitling’s first in-house three-hand automatic caliber, offering precision performance and modern reliability. Other notable upgrades include ceramic-inlayed bezels for enhanced durability, tone-on-tone subdials for visual harmony, and a choice between mesh-metal or rubber straps for a comfortable, watertight fit.

In a nod to surf legend Kelly Slater, Breitling presents a limited-edition timepiece that captures the spirit of Hawaii, where Slater now calls home. The Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic 40 Kelly Slater features a foliage-inspired dial, an open caseback showcasing the movement, and the engraving “One of 500”. It is offered on a blue rubber mesh strap or stainless-steel bracelet and is accompanied by a custom box and a personal note from Slater himself.

Extending the coastal aesthetic beyond the wrist, Breitling joins forces with British eyewear house Cutler and Gross to launch a capsule collection of four handcrafted sunglass styles. Drawing on design cues from the Superocean timepieces, the collection includes metal and acetate frames with luxurious details such as Milanese-engraved cores, lacquer-filled temple tips, and optional 18k red-gold accents. Each style is produced in a limited run of 500 pairs.

Rounding out the summer-ready ensemble, Breitling introduces a collaboration with Havaianas – the iconic Brazilian sandal brand. The exclusive flip-flops feature a tropical floral motif inspired by Hawaiian landscapes and are presented in custom packaging, available at select Breitling Equipment boutiques worldwide.
