CHANEL unveils its Spring-Summer 2026 Haute Couture collection under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy, marking his debut show for the House. Rooted in the belief that “Haute Couture is the very soul of CHANEL,” the collection reexamines the essence of the House through an intimate exchange between designer, garment and wearer.

Conceived as a poetic suspension in time, the show unfolds like a haiku. Lightness, movement and self-expression place the woman at its center, celebrating individuality as both body and soul. The opening CHANEL suit, rendered in transparent silk mousseline in tender shades, evokes layered memories of the House. Embroidered love letters, a bottle of N°5 and red lipstick appear as emotional tokens, revealed through pockets, linings, jewelry and the iconic chain.

As the collection progresses, a metamorphosis occurs. Women transform into birds: from raven black silhouettes to richly colored plumage inspired by pigeons, herons, spoonbills and cockatoos, feathers are suggested rather than used. Gathered among towering mushrooms in an enchanted willow wood, the birds ultimately vanish. For a brief moment, Haute Couture pauses, then flies away. In short, when CHANEL chooses a theme, every detail will express it in the most fascinating way, as the House’s creativity ensures it’s embedded in our hearts just like its designs.
