Breitling has unveiled the Top Time B01 Eddy Merckx, a limited-edition chronograph celebrating the achievements of Belgian cycling legend Eddy Merckx, whose record 525 career victories remains unmatched. The launch follows last year’s Top Time Coppi and Top Time Bartali editions, continuing the brand’s tribute to cycling’s defining figures.

Merckx dominated professional cycling from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s, claiming 11 Grand Tours, 19 Monument classics, three World Championships, five Tour de France titles, and a record 96 days in the yellow jersey.

Inspired by Breitling’s long history in cycling timekeeping, the 41 mm chronograph features a yellow dial with silver “squircle” subdials, Merckx’s signature at 6 o’clock, and a caseback engraved “One of 525” alongside “Eddy Merckx Tribute.” Powered by the COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber B01, the watch offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve. It is available with either a black perforated leather strap or a stainless-steel mesh bracelet.
