The Art of Healing What Remains

Where artistry meets skin, Pia Dahdouh is redefining scar care, bringing a new perspective to the journey of healing and self-reclamation.

Some stories remain written on the skin. A surgical line, a burn or a scar left by illness can carry memories long after the body has healed. For Beirut-based Paramedical Artist Pia Dahdouh, these marks are not simply imperfections to conceal, but unique surfaces to understand, refine and remodel.

With a Master’s degree in Art and a background in 3D trompe l’oeil, Dahdouh brings an artist’s eye to scar care, reading the subtle interplay of texture, pigmentation, light and shadow. Through her signature philosophy, “We Remodel the Scar”, she uses fine needles and carefully selected professional serums to help improve the appearance and texture of scarred skin. Each approach is tailored to the individual, recognizing that every scar tells a different story.

For women recovering from breast cancer surgery, including reconstructive procedures, scar care can represent another meaningful step in recovery. Once medically healed, women may choose to explore professional scar-remodeling options to address the visible traces of surgery, in consultation with their medical team.

Based at LIV Clinic in Beirut, Dahdouh’s work complements medical care, bridging technical precision and artistic sensitivity. Her ambition is not to erase personal histories, but to help people feel more comfortable in their skin.

Because sometimes, healing continues long after the wound closes.
