Pegged as one of the biggest Hollywood awards ceremony, the 75th Golden Globe Awards was quite the statement-teller this year. Indeed, Hollywood’s most influential celebrities gathered with big bold statements in mind: the show of power by wearing black in protest against harassment and gender inequality.
The ceremony was also topped with a heartfelt speech given by none other than Oprah Winfrey and the whole night was a salute to the entertainment industry as well as all the victims of the ongoing scandals. Celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Dakota Johnson, Jessica Biel and Dave Franco – amongst others – made a lavish appearance in designer attires, proving once again that the red carpet is the hub for fashion and style.
