Burberry Appoints Riccardo Tisci as Chief Creative Officer

After news broke that Christopher Bailey was resigning from his position as Creative Director, speculations were made about who would replace him. As it turns out, Burberry is now ready to welcome Riccardo Tisci as the new Chief Creative Officer. The latter was formerly Givenchy’s Creative Director for more than a decade and will hence be moving from Paris to London effective 12 March 2018.

Tisci will also be presenting his debut collection for Burberry in September, during London Fashion Week.

"I am honored and delighted to be joining Burberry as its new Chief Creative Officer and reuniting with Marco Gobbetti. I have enormous respect for Burberry's British heritage and global appeal and I am excited about the potential of this exceptional brand," commented Riccardo Tisci.
