With every new season comes a series of new colors to embrace. For Spring-Summer 2018, the runways revealed a whole lot of unexpected colors. For instance, there was the pleasantly surprising comeback of the vibrant yellow, but most importantly there was a vivid revival of the nineties’ lavender.

Designers opted for a more bold approach, as they commonly used a wide continuum ranging from soft pastels to more vibrant and strong hues.

And while the runway shows kind of forced us to go back to psychedelic patterns – think florals, animal prints and a whole lot of stripes and zig zags – the fact is, the common denominator between the looks were the pops of dashing colors.
