Jackie O, The Beatles, Brigitte Bardot and Twiggy; these were a few of the sixties’ most celebrated icons. How so, you might ask? Well just look at the most prominent fashion trends and see before you this decade’s fabulous references splattered all across most elitist designers’ clothes.

You might not be a big fan of this decade, but the mania goes beyond anyone’s control. From the oversized round sunglasses, to the mini shift dresses, the knee-high socks, the Mary-jane shoes and the colorful garments, we’ve all picked a thing or two from the sixties and we can’t say the result is not as charming as we’ve expected it to be. For instance, MiuMiu took the shift dress and socks combination to a whole new level by adding a little modernity to the mix, while CHANEL made use of its iconic tweed suits to channel the sixties’ most common vibes.
