“La Prima”, that’s the feeling you get when you meet someone for the first time, when you wear a beautiful gown for the very first time or in this particular case, the name of Giorgio Armani’s Spring-Summer 2020 collection. Now we know what you’re thinking: what’s so special about that title? Well, it’s also the brand’s first advertising campaign and it’s everything we love and cherish about Armani.
That said, the iconic fashion house revealed yet again a series of silhouettes with clean lines and a neutral color palette – a few of its moniker codes and values.
Indeed, models sashayed their way onto the runway in monochromatic looks, from double breasted blazers with matching tapered trousers to silk jumpsuits and midi skirts. The silhouettes were slouchy but were topped with thick belts resting fashionably at the models’ waists. The collection featured calm colors and a whole lot of understated elegance – characteristics that the designer himself has learned to master over the time.
