All-Things Feathery

Call them feathers, call them plumes or call them what you may, these little sensations are just the frosting on top of a very glamorous cake. But let’s talk fashion, shall we?

Feathered trimmings and linings were all the rage during the Fall/Winter 2019-2020 runways, what with designers and big Fashion Houses such as Valentino, Loewe, Attico – and so much more – sent out models in plume-infested outerwear. We’re talking feathered dresses from head to toe, feathered crop tops matched with pared-down trousers and last but not least, feathered coats. The styles were endless and the colors even more so. Designers went as far as adding these little soft darling to accessories such as bags, shoes and scarves – hello nineties – and not surprisingly, everyone who’s anyone is going gaga over the trend as we speak. And can we blame them really? The trend screams glam and glitz in all the right ways! As long as you’re sporting the right attitude, all you need to do is sit down, relax and choose your favorite go-to feathered piece!
