Class, femininity and structure – these are a few of the Italian designer Giorgio Armani’s favorite things. But as his collections usually appeal to everyone across the board, this one in particular had the ability to especially bring out all the retro-fans out there.
Indeed, the designer sent out models in his moniker suits, but this time around, they were full of life and well, colors. Think creamy white blazers matched with pops of color splashed on trousers. Loose pants stretched on the ankles with elastic bands varied in colors and tones, while others resembled canvases of paintings splashed with fluorescent patterns. It was all very mesmerizing and completely enchanting. But that was not the only thing that caught our attention, as some models – all of whom sported short bobs with headpieces – were casually donning embellished and fringe pieces, making the collection that much noteworthy. Along came the eveningwear section, with strapless gowns with feathered bodices gaining huge momentum. Straight to the point yet stunningly charming.
