Leather, class and some more leather. Paul Andrew’s take of Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter 2020-2021 collection was synonymous with underrated elegance – one that the House continuously prides itself with. In fact, Ferragamo has always been known for the sincere ways in which its pieces can vary from sporty-chic to leather-sophisticated in a split of a second. And this time around, it was no different at all.

The pieces were all injected with some sort of working girl elegance, as there were maxi loose coats with high-slit midi skirts at times and high-waisted trousers with matching blazers at other times. But it was all far from being classic, as we saw a series of “I want it now” pieces, from the metallic high-waisted fringed midi skirt to the metallic leather cape and a red fit-forming leather jumpsuit that had sass written all over it. Doutzen Kroes made a fabulous appearance in a red leather coat that fitted her like a glove.
