For a brand that is mostly known for its red-carpet appearances, Ralph & Russo might really surprise you on the Ready-to-Wear front. And we’re talking about the fabulous kind of surprise too, you know, the one that takes you from outing to outing in sheer style and elegance. So what did the power duo have in store for us? Well just a series of to-die-for-pieces that would accompany us on our jet-setting adventures. The first look was a dreamy tartan trench-coat bursting with tasteful colors – think brown, camel, fuchsia and so forth – while the other looks that followed were a fashionable representation of the “global explorer”, the one that would magically pull off casual power suits, grand knits with tulle midi-skirts and fancy kimonos. With that in mind, the collection could have not been more diversified, as we saw endless patterns and endless styles. Outerwear and jersey are definitely high on top of our list for the coming season – special thanks to Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo for making them that much more desirable.
