For its Fall 2020 collection, Valentino brought back the “Valentino Bluegrace”. First seen in the House’s Haute Couture Fall/ Winter 68-69 collection, this artistic concept was again seen in the Fall/ Winter 13-14 collection through a different perspective. This time, the House honored this vision through a dinner hosted for Joelle Mardinian and her guests. The Valentino Bluegrace reflects the beauty of Dutch pottery through a long liaison between symbolic navy blue patterns. For this collection, Pierpaolo Piccioli gave it a new facet bringing the archives to life in a special way thus connecting the past with the present.
