If we were to describe the Miu Miu woman, we would say she is fashionable rebel and a smart risk-taker, who embraces life with all its ups and downs. She represents a mix of creative aspects, which mirror the aesthetic essence of the brand. So it isn’t much of a surprise that the luxury brand’s Spring-Summer 2016 campaign features yet again, talented emerging screen-actors who are celebrating the beautifully daring collection, which includes a mishmash of contrasting materials, such as knit, tweed, satin, jacquard, lace, gingham and leather. Even the collection’s colors represent a divergent attitude, varying from grey and taupes to maroon, gold and blue. You can find almost anything your heart desires, from an extravagant white and brown leather trench to a prairie-inspired yoked cotton shirt.

But let’s go back to the campaign as Steven Meisel, photographer and creative partner, produces a series of sophisticated portraits showcasing rising international actors, including Millie Brady, Julia Garner, Matilda Lutz and India Salvor Menuez.

If you love the sights of impeccably cropped images, or you always look for the asymmetrical aspect in a visual and if you cherish those expressive shots of the fashion realm, then these sequences are just for you! Photographed against a monotone grey background, Meisel captures the ever-so expressive and vibrant beauty of the actors, all the while focusing on the exquisite diversity of Miu Miu.
