If you were to count the items each and every woman owns, you’d spend a lifetime getting to a 6-digit number, at least. Yes, they have their fingers in every pie. On the other hand, men could fit all their clothes in one single cabinet. Girls! Gotta love them!

It’s one thing to just “go wild” and impulsively pamper yourself with these gorgeous block heels or with that fabulous little skirt you spotted in the vitrine. But it’s a whole other thing to throw yourself at every item that may come your way. So if you’ve ever felt like you are constantly being swept away in a shopping frenzy and you have no life jacket on, then this is for you! We’re dedicating this feature for those of us who are compulsively- though beautifully- driven by a need to add another layer to our already-fully-loaded closet.

1. You’re always looking for an excuse to validate your shopping trance. A soiree?  A date? An imaginary birthday, perhaps? Whatever it is, you just have to get yourself a new outfit!
2. You’ve got four jam-packed closets with hundreds of attires and every time you need to get something out, your whole armoire explodes like a vintage pop-up box. But who’s counting, right?
3. When you’re asked about your hobby, the sight of a beautiful shopping bag automatically comes to mind. Bags, bags and forever bags!
4. Whenever you’re facing a despondent moment, you irrevocably turn to your shopping habits (not that you ever stopped, really). Retail is therapy!
5. But when push comes to shove, you find yourself hiding your precious shopping bags as to avoid a possible shopper-vention.
6. You frequently find yourself wondering where these enormous shopping packages could come from. A fashion miracle maybe?
7. But when you’re out there shopping your heart out, you immediately hide from the bill. Bill? What bill?
8. You did not have yourself pegged as an “email person”, but your inbox is chockfull of newsletters from department stores. This is also what we call “FOMO” (Fear Of Missing Out).
9. Summer? As if! Your favorite holiday is Black Friday, thank you very much!
10. But the final – scratch that- extraordinary straw? Nothing could ever haunt your sleep like an item you tried on, but haven’t purchased.
